Introduction: |

This classic traverse of the mountains, which form the islands Backbone is now a firm favourite and it's easy to see why.
During the week we'll walk from the pretty village of Valldemossa to the town of Pollensa in the far- flung north.
 The scenery and the colour you'll view on this six day trek is simply breathtaking.
Centuries old traders' paths previously used by old rural industries will show us the way through canyons and over peaks. Just imagine setting off each day knowing your going to be staying somewhere completely different that night.
 To get there you'll only need a day sack as this trek offers full vehicle assistance
for the rest of your things.
It's a land only tour which means you getting to the start and from the finish of the trek.
Level of difficulty: This holiday should present no difficulties to anyone in good condition who's used to mountain walking. Most of the route is on well defined footpaths, but there are a few stretches over rough ground. The trek is graded B+, because there's some 2000ft+ climb days and on the Massanella approach there's a short scramble. |

THE TOUR INCLUDES:
- The price is based on 2 people sharing a twin or double room, except in the case of Tossals Verds Mountain Refuge, from arrival on day 1 to breakfast on day 8.
- The meals included are as follows :
- ( D ) Dinners on Days 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 & 7
- ( B ) Breakfasts on Days 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8
- ( PL ) Picnic Lunches on Days 2, 3 & 6 when its difficult to organize for yourself and one of these is a true Mallorcan P'amb Oli

- Baggage Transfers between night stops. (Palma to Alcudia).
- The group transfers from Palma to Valldemossa and from Pollensa to Alcudia.
- The visit to "Costa Nord" Tramuntana information centre in Valldemossa and a land levy near the highest mountain are all included in the package.
