Are you looking to party? Enjoy the Mallorca nightlife!
There is a whole other chapter that can describe the diverse night culture in Mallorca. The intensity actually depends on what part of the island you are in. The southern resorts on Mallorca satisfy the party animals more than the resorts in the northern part of the island do. There are avenues full of bars and discos that tourists and locals can choose from. The British are the latest targeted clientele of different bars and shops. In fact, most of the clubs in Magaluf & Palma are now being geared towards English architecture.

The northern resorts are very laid back and the focal activities of the evening are found around the bars and restaurants where you can pass the time away, watch how the locals & tourists thrive in the island, while you are having a good meal. Most of the clubs or nightspots in northern Mallorca are situated inside the hotels, so there’s no need to get so far from your accommodations.
The Pirates Adventure (Els Pirates), which is based on the suburbs of Magaluf is a Dinner/Show with a pirate theme and has short dialogues in English all throughout. It is one of the most popular evening attractions in the south of the island, for all ages and all nationalities - The show starts 8pm to midnight (from April to October, Tuesdays to Fridays).Sunday versions of the show are reserved adults only. Because tourism is the premier source of income of Mallorcans, it is but natural to see lots of places to eat and drink throughout the island (from cafés, bars, take-away, to restaurants). It is also not a wonder for most of the restaurants to comprise international menu. You can find the local cuisine in the smaller restaurants in the inland villages. Wines, liquors, and soda drinks are also widely available, with a large variety of imported brands.
From October to around Easter the next year, young party addicts begin to depart from the island, even the southern party capitals of Mallorca now begin to experience a change of persona. Magaluf and Palma Nova are then strongly advertised to entice middle aged couples and others who want to have serene winter holidays. By this time, even the lively music bars choose to close during week days, and they just open during the weekends. Still, many of the cafes and restaurants do remain open during weekdays.
It doesn’t have to be all party in Mallorca though, the hotels are of such a good quality that a night in relaxing with the mini bar could be just as enjoyable and a chance to recharge your batteries before the next night on the tiles. Maybe you can see what films the hotel offers or indulge in some online poker…you may even win enough at the virtual tables to be able to afford another Mallorca holiday! The next night you could even hit the casinos for real having practised the night before!
