Palma de Mallorca as the capital of the Balearic Islands

Beautiful MallorcaPalma de Mallorca is designated as the largest island amongst the 16 Balearic Islands of Spain. It nestled off the coast of Spain, since the ancient times Mallorca has been the home of varied culture. Nowadays, millions of tourists are visiting the island because of its fascinating mild and sunny climate and of course because of its impressive landscape. Mallorca as well is appointed as the capital of the Balearic Islands with a sophisticated look. The capital of the Balearic is not just all about its impressive landscape, but you will also find here various shopping centers, restaurants and other interesting activities for the tourists.

Palma de Mallorca has been named for the Roman city of Palmeria, however the island has both the European and the Moorish flavors. Mallorca has been dominated by the stunning gothic cathedral La Seu. Tourists can start touring the city from the old city and would end to the Placa d’Espanya.
