Good Drive in Mallorca

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

Yes if you are planning for a drive vacation holiday going to Mallorca please do not forget to bring several memory card for your digital camera. I did not brought even a spare memory card and I regretted that. that event also prompted us to go back the next month for another drive. But this time I got several of the precious memory card to get pictures of the whole trip or our Mallorca travel. For the whole duration of the two Mallorca travel we stopped at several key point for a a really good Mallorca trip.

You will love the curve and the road itself going to Mallorca and the mountain views and green sceneries that you will meet along the ways. I was really rooting for more pictures more, “a picture is worth a thousand words”. There are feelings that only a picture can give justice to.

The wide expanse panorama of the ocean between Baya and Estellencs will lure you at the road side to take a view of its beauty. Beautiful is an understatement of the description of the whole aura of the bird’s eye view of the ocean. The crystal blue water of the beach is like a temptress beckoning you to wonder on its bounty.

Bayalbufar is another story. The soft blowing of the wind and the tranquility of the place can make you cry. Of wonder, of enchantment- it’s up to you to decide. Our next stop is Punta de Sa Forada. The trees, rock houses, a huge mountain and beautiful Spanish people are the reasons I fell in love with Punta de Sa Forada. The seaside pedestrians are also another side of this place to fell in love with. The walks, the stairs and the beach is one really beautiful enchantment. It speaks volumes of unsaid history.

Port de Soller is another side of Mallorca. This time you can now smell the touristy atmosphere and its lively colors. Some big resorts can be found here and some good restaurants. I also found a cozy little shopping area to bring some mementos back home besides the picture.

Badia Blava, Cap Blanca, Talaiot, s’Estnayol, Cap de Ses Salines, Cala Sa Nau, Porto Cristo and Palma are the paradises in Mallorca. Each worth a story to tell.

Which of the place in Mallorca did you fell in love first? Why?

Mallorca, a Perennial Tourist Destination

Thursday, September 3rd, 2009

Third in a row that Spain has hosted the Future Travel Conference. Costa del Sol and Costa de la Luz were the former venue and this time it is Mallorca. It has been for so long that Mallorca Travel has been a sought-after holiday vacation with people all over the world especially from tourist across Europe.

If you wanted to get away from tall buildings and congested population living area then Mallorca Holiday Destination is the best destination. Mallorca gives the impression of peaceful eternity. A walk on a beach in the afternoon or early morning or an afternoon spent under a coconut tree reading your favorite book does something to the disposition of the holidaymaker.

For the active adventurous young Mallorca nightlife is much to be desired. The various activities that you can indulge while in the place will fill a three day of vacation without end. A temperature at 32 centigrade is considered very welcoming by the guests. Mallorca offers almost the same thrill that other sun destination in the world.

Mallorca comfy accommodation is not a problem for plenty and several of choices are available. Choices range from villas with a pool to apartments closely located to the beach area. Heated pools are also available to some part in Mallorca.
If you go for a vacation for sun, sand, sea and privacy perhaps the villas are your best options. Villas are recommended best for large families having a vacation or three couples on a vacation.

You can visit Cathedrals and enjoy beaches and the coastlines; tours and excursions are also available; government and historical buildings are also beautiful tourist sight; village visits are also popular; countless and bars and restaurants are present.

Mallorca is one of the beautiful destination is the Spanish land and no wonder it is a favorite spot.

Mallorca, My Paradise

Palacio ca sa Galesa is in itself already a paradise to live in yet there must be something in Mallorca Spain for it to benefit such a very good travel accommodation. The place reminds me of fairytales from Cinderella, Snow White and sleeping beauty. Honestly it has all the components for you to think that Mallorca is sculpted to accommodate princesses and princes.

My general impression of Mallorca has by far exceeded my expectations. I did not expect to find miles of beaches that are very good to lie down and bask under the sun. I did not expect to gaze at castles, towers and spires. I did not expect to be given the chance to gaze at mountains and mountains and endless of mountains.

Santa ponsa Majorca has enough on its sleeves to entertain thousands of sun-seeking guests. It is home to several five star hotel and resorts and beautifully maintained beaches. I got to admit that Santa Ponsa is never a place to rub elbows with the locals and thus experience that Spanish culture straight from them. Yet it has a good dose of nightlife, resorts and beach all in equilibrium with each other to last you a lifetime.

Cala Millor is another beach area to explore. Restaurants, hotel and bars abound in this area thus you are not short of something to do. Yet, the beaches are the number one attractions. Cala Millor is also a famous destination in this region of Mallorca. The promenade is one place you should stop for a while just o discover that you wanted to stay longer.

A mixture of mountain and sea attractions is the forte of Serra de Tramuntana; the lovers of mountains and beach will have their primetime of their lives here. Mountain hiking and meeting the locals along the way is one activity that many enjoy. While some part of Serra de Tramuntana can give you access to crystal blue water without the crowd.

How about you what are your favorite spots in Mallorca?

Palma de Mallorca, A Favorite Stopover

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

Mallorca is the largest among the Balearic Island. Tourists seek the three ‘s’s- sand, sun and sea and it is a desired spot for beach combers! Palma de Mallorca travel guide abound of endless praises and pictures that cures the tourist’s wanderlust. It is the largest and main city of Mallorca.

Mallorca has several desirable destinations such as Cala Millor, Puerto Pollensa, Santa Posa, Cala Ratjada and tourist travel guide to each of these destinations are not insufficient. Almost everyone would just love to stay there and bask in the sun. Perhaps 18 degrees of temperature will tempt you for a stopover.

Not mentioning that the whole ambiance of the place reminds you of a fairy tale setting with palm tress and lovely beaches. Palma de Mallorca airport has daily air travel going in and out the city and on several European cities for only 2 Euros for every 15 minutes from 6 in the morning until 2 in the afternoon.

A train travel is also available though between towns in Mallorca. A direct train route going to the airport is not available though. The major tourist destination are Castell de Bellver, Pueblo Espanol, Paseo Maritimo, Catedral de Mallorca, Banys Arabs, Museo de Arte Espanol Contemporaneo, Placa del mercat, Bull Ring, Aqualand, Windward Islands Yacht and the beaches.

There are middle range accommodation and budget accommodation. You just take your pick from a few hotel accommodations that were suggested by back packers. Restaurants are also abundant. If you wanted to try the truest of the Spanish dishes then perhaps you should seek some local restaurants that offer cheap and Spanish food. Try to ask first how large is one serving, for Spanish servings are so big, it can feed two people. And like in other cities, Palma de Mallorca is so Spanish that meal times are served later in the evening. So, if you wanted to feel the true Spanish culture; try adapting it during your stay.
